Potamos beach in Municipality of Chersonisos – Crete was awarded as the best public certified Costa Nostrum – Sustainable Beach for the year 2018.
The award ceremony of the competition MEDITERRANEAN HERITAGE OF HUMANITY took place in Alghero – Italy on Saturday May 4 2019. Costa Nostrum won the 1st prize in the category of SUSTAINABLE RECOVERY AND RENEWABLE PROGRAMS.

The event is co-organized by Costa Nostrum along with the scientific board, establishing a much needed connection between science and beach stakeholders.
