With a sense of responsibility for the difficult conditions prevailing worldwide, due to the pandemic of the corona virus Covid-19 and bearing in mind the situation that citizens and visitors are expected to face this year’s special summer season, we wrote a series of measures for the operation of public and privately managed by hotel units, beaches.
The CEO of Costa Nostrum, Mr. Vassilis Zissimopoulos, was invited to the show “De Facto” of TV CRETA – Pancretan Radio and Television SA and the journalist Mr. Sotiris Metaxas in order to present the beginning of our cooperation with ELKETHE – Institute of Oceanography, as well as the parameters related to Blue Growth, Sustainable Tourism and the protection of the coastal environment.
The launch of a highly constructive collaboration between Costa Nostrum and the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research Institute of Oceanography took place on Tuesday, February 4, 2020. The presentation took place at the Crete Aquarium.

Satisfaction and optimism was created by the presence of Costa Nostrum, to the visitors of the 35th Philoxenia 2019 Tourism Exhibition, which took place from 8 to 10 November at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Center (TIF – HELEXPO) under the auspices of the EOT.
