To change the way citizens and authorities perceive the Mediterranean beaches in order for them to become a place where one can escape to, relax and be entertained daily while also constituting an axis of economic development and environmental awareness for the coastal communities.

Organized Beaches, Non-Organized Beaches and Beaches of an Ecological Nature

The Certification Standard for Sustainable Management and Development of the Mediterranean Beaches – Costa Nostrum® is an original and innovative “tool” that can objectively guarantee the sustainable development of the Mediterranean beaches.
OUR INNOVATION
The innovation of the certification standard Costa Nostrum – Sustainable Beaches rests on the fact that it is based on a sum of indexes – criteria which ensure the actual, all-aspect (economic, social and environmental) sustainable development of beaches.
