Costa Nostrum 2025: New Frontiers in Sustainability!

2024 was a year full of action and success for Costa Nostrum, as we tirelessly continued our mission to promote sustainability in coastal areas. With unwavering vision and commitment, our team participated in key European projects, re-certified sustainable beaches in Crete, traveled abroad to implement our standards, and attended international conferences, strengthening our voice for sustainable development.

More specifically, Costa Nostrum took part in the MedBAN – Mediterranean Blue Acceleration Network European project, contributing to mobilizing SMEs in the blue economy towards a greener and more digital future. At the same time, six hotel beaches in Crete were re-certified as Costa Nostrum – Sustainable Beaches, reaffirming our ongoing commitment to sustainable coastal tourism management.

During the summer, we traveled to Norway to evaluate Melkeviken Beach based on our protocol, setting the groundwork for further expansion into eight European countries in 2025.

Additionally, Costa Nostrum participated in the international conference “Bridging Sustainable Blue & Green Development” in Albania, where we presented our innovative practices and exchanged views with industry experts.

We invite you to read more about our actions and become part of our effort, working together for a more sustainable future for our coasts and tourism.
